Maxime Sorel (V and B – Monbana – Mayenne), 12th

The skipper from Saint Malo has finished! He completed the New York Vendée - Les Sables d'Olonne after 13 days, 20 hours and 05 minutes at sea. 5th in The Transat CIC, battling it out with the outsiders at the start of the race, Maxime has shown that he has rediscovered his incredible determination, one year after climbing Everest. Now focused on his 2nd Vendée Globe, he will be able to project himself serenely thanks to the increased strength of his boat, launched in June 2022.
