Violette Dorange (DeVenir), 18th

On Thursday 13th June at 16h10, Violette Dorange crossed the finish line of the second edition of the New York Vendée - Les Sables d'Olonne, taking 18th place in the race after 14 days, 20 hours and 10 minutes of racing. Throughout the course, the skipper of DeVenir was regularly daring and perfectly exploited the potential of her IMOCA in light airs. She can be proud of finishing first among the daggerboard boats, which will give her plenty of confidence ahead of the Vendée Globe, having also validated her new sails and new autopilot settings.
